Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to honor or remember an individual. For gifts of $25 or more you can choose to recognize someone with a commemorative bookplate with the message of your choice to be placed in Columbus Metropolitan Library’s collection.

The Easiest of Legacy Gifts is a Bequest by Will or Trust
All it takes is a simple designation in a will or trust, such as this sample language in your estate planning documents:
“I give and bequeath to Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation, Columbus, Ohio, an unrestricted gift in the sum of $(Amount) or % (Percent) of my estate, real or personal, which I own at the time of my death or over which I have power of disposition. The Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation shall administer said assets for the sole benefit of Columbus Metropolitan Library.

Create a Named Fund
Any gift of $50,000+ allows you an opportunity to establish a named fund in your name or in the name of a loved one.

Workplace Giving
Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation is the proud recipient of employee giving campaigns, including United Way and the Combined Charitable Campaign. Many companies also start their own fundraisers. Jeans’ Days, book drives, chili cook-offs – the possibilities are endless!

Matching Gifts
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, contact your Human Resources Department. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift may be doubled or possibly tripled!
Contributions of any amount will help provide books, educational programs, and online resources to thousands of central Ohioans who love Columbus Metropolitan Library as much as you do.

When you shop on Amazon, go through its charitable giving program AmazonSmile. AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know. Same products, same prices, same service. And 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases will be donated to Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation when you select our organization.
Kroger Community Rewards
When you connect your Plus Card to the library, Kroger will donate a portion of the sales to our organization. To get started, sign up with your Plus Card below, and select Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation (group number PH417). Once enrolled, you’ll earn rewards every time you shop and use your Plus Card. Remember to renew annually to keep your account active.
