Library announces James Patterson author talk on June 13

COLUMBUS—Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is announcing a notable addition to its 2022 Carnegie Author Series: an in-person program featuring worldwide bestseller James Patterson.

Monday, June 13 | 7 p.m.
Main Library | 96 S. Grant Ave. (Reading Room – Second Floor)

CML CEO Patrick Losinski will join Patterson for conversation and audience Q & A. The author will sign books following the Q & A. Free tickets are now available and are required for entry. Seating opens at 6 p.m. Parking in Main Library’s attached garage will be free.

Patterson’s forthcoming memoir, James Patterson by James Patterson, is due to be released by Little, Brown and Company on June 6. The book is available for presale on the ticket webpage.

James Patterson is the world’s bestselling author, best known for his many enduring fictional characters and series, including Alex Cross, the Women’s Murder Club, Michael Bennett, Maximum RideMiddle SchoolI Funny and Jacky Ha-Ha. Patterson’s writing career is characterized by a single mission: to prove to everyone, from children to adults, that there is no such thing as a person who “doesn’t like to read,” only people who haven’t found the right book. He’s given over a million books to schoolkids and over $40 million to support education and endowed over 5,000 college scholarships for teachers. He writes fulltime and lives in Florida with his family.

Columbus Metropolitan Library has served the people of Franklin County, Ohio since 1873.
