Library announces 2024 Carnegie Author Series lineup

COLUMBUS—Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is announcing the lineup of its 2024 Carnegie Author Series.

  • Brendan Slocumb | Sunday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
  • Rebecca Yarros | Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m. (to be held at Mershon Auditorium | 1871 N. High St.)
  • Lisa Scottoline | Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m.
  • Abby Jimenez | Sunday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.
  • Stephen Graham Jones | Sunday, Oct. 6 at 2 p.m.
  • Dr. Matthew Desmond | Sunday, Dec. 8 at 2 p.m.

Each author talk, with the exception of Rebecca Yarros’, will be held at Main Library, 96 S. Grant Ave.

All author talks are free and open to all, however free tickets are required for seating. CML will share registration details in the weeks leading up to each program on its Special Events page.

Columbus Metropolitan Library has served the people of Franklin County, Ohio since 1873. With its Main Library and 22 branches, CML is well known for signature services and programs like School Help, Reading Buddies, Summer Reading Challenge and Ready for Kindergarten. The library’s Strategic Plan supports the vision of “a thriving community where wisdom prevails,” which positions CML to respond to areas of urgent need: kids unprepared for kindergarten, third grade reading proficiency, high school graduation, college and career readiness and employment resources.
