When I enter or leave the front entrance of Main Library, I always look up at the words “Open to All” and remember the first time I looked up at those words as a kid. I keep coming back because everyone has the same passion for the library and its mission. Even after more than 20 years, I love coming to work every day, knowing everyone has the same goal.

I love being part of a workplace where we treat each other like family and look out for one another. Seeing the children's faces light up when they explore the displays in the Atrium or take part in our activities is one of the best parts of my day. I appreciate how grateful parents are when they see how much we care about them and their children. It means a lot to know that we make a difference in customers’ lives simply by listening to their stories or helping them find the answers they need. The thing I love most about my career at CML is that I’m able to help others in my community gain access to resources that can ultimately change someone's life for the better. My passion of sharing college and career prep resources with customers is something I look forward to continuing to contribute in my current role.
