We cut the ribbon on your new Marion-Franklin Branch!
The new branch has:
- 10,000 sq. ft. of space (increased from 4,000 sq. ft.)
- Two meeting rooms, a conference room, and three study rooms for community use
- A larger Children’s area with more space for programs and areas for children to read, play, and use computers
- Dedicated space for teens with books, computers, and study spaces
- A Learning Center where students can get free after-school help
- Public computers and a business center for community use
- Commissioned works of public art
- Seating areas to read and relax
- A collection of library materials to meet the community’s needs

Barnett Branch
We cut the ribbon on your new Barnett Branch!
The new branch has:
- 22,000 sq. ft. of space (increased from 12,300 square feet)
- Three meeting rooms and four study rooms for community use
- A larger Children’s area with more space for programs and areas for children to read, play, and use computers
- Dedicated space for teens with books and computers
- A game room and recording studio
- A Learning Center where students can get free after-school help
- Public computers and a business center for community use
- Commissioned works of public art

Canal Winchester Branch
We’re cutting the ribbon on your new library on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026! Join us for a brief 10 a.m. ribbon cutting, and then we’ll be open for business!
In the meantime, our branch at 115 Franklin St. will permanently close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23 so we can begin moving into our new library. Visit nearby locations until the new branch opens.
Stop in to the current branch through Dec. 22 and sign your name to a panel that will be permanently installed in the new branch!

In the meantime, our temporary location at 1990 Jefferson Ave. will permanently close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17 so we can begin moving into our new library. Visit nearby locations until the new branch opens.
