COLUMBUS—Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is partnering with Right Turn Reentry to host a job fair for individuals with felony backgrounds. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday, May 1 | 12-4 p.m.
Main Library | 96 S. Grant Ave.

Reentry job-seekers can:

  • Connect with hiring representatives from “second-chance friendly” companies
  • Learn about social services and record sealing and expungement resources
  • Get support with resumes and interviewing
  • More

“Libraries exist to open doors,” says CML Chief of Service Design and Engagement Donna Zuiderweg. “We’re not just connecting people to employment; we’re affirming that every person deserves a second chapter.”

“Our organization is made up of formerly incarcerated people who have served nearly 100 combined years in prison,” says Right Turn Reentry founder David Ector. “We’re using our platforms and personal lived experiences to create pathways and remove barriers for those who deserve second chances.”
