Apply to Serve on the Friends’ Board of Trustees
Friends of the Library is currently accepting applications for 2 open positions on the Board of Trustees. The self-nominated, volunteer Board is responsible for managing and growing lines of business, recruiting and engaging Friends of the Library members, establishing and monitoring short-term and long-term financial goals, and advocating on behalf of Columbus Metropolitan Library as directed. Applicants should be passionate library supporters with an interest in grassroots advocacy who are able to volunteer 3-5 hours per month in service of Friends of the Library.

While all skillsets are welcome, individuals with experience in the following are especially encouraged to apply:
- Financial Investment Strategy
- Digital Marketing
- Member Engagement and Stewardship
- Event Management
- Vendor Relations and Procurement
