Library prepares for Back to School

Homework Help Centers open Aug. 15

COLUMBUS—As thousands of central Ohio children and teens return to school this month, Columbus Metropolitan Library’s (CML) Homework Help Centers reopen at all 23 locations. Starting Wednesday, Aug. 15, K-12 students will once again have a free place to get help with their homework from friendly staff and volunteers.

Students have access to welcoming spaces to study and learn, as well as computers, printers, digital research tools and CML’s catalog including eBooks.

Service hours reflect differences in school dismissal times among the 10 districts CML serves (Canal Winchester Local, Columbus City, Dublin City, Gahanna-Jefferson Public, Groveport Madison Local, Hamilton Local, Hilliard City, New Albany-Plain Local, Reynoldsburg City and Whitehall City). Columbus Metropolitan Library has served the people of Franklin County, Ohio since 1873. With its Main Library and 22 branches, CML is well known for signature services and programs like Homework Help, Reading Buddies, Summer Reading Challenge and Ready for Kindergarten.
