New Dublin Branch to open June 6

COLUMBUS—Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML), to build excitement for its new Dublin Branch, will march in the Dublin St. Patrick’s Day Parade this Saturday, March 16.

CML will also participate in the Inflation Celebration in the Graeter’s Ice Cream parking lot (6255 Frantz Rd.) before the parade from 9:30-11 a.m. Library staff will lead Storytime and hand out giveaway items for kids such as bags for treats, candy, stickers and bookmarks.

The new Dublin Branch will open to the public on Thursday, June 6.

Dublin residents can learn more about how they can support their new library by visiting DublinBranchCampaign.org.

Columbus Metropolitan Library has served the people of Franklin County, Ohio since 1873. With its Main Library and 22 branches, CML is well known for signature services and programs like School Help, Reading Buddies, Summer Reading Challenge and Ready for Kindergarten. The library’s Strategic Plan supports the vision of “a thriving community where wisdom prevails,” which positions CML to respond to areas of urgent need: kids unprepared for kindergarten, third grade reading proficiency, high school graduation, college and career readiness and employment resources.
