• We are launching a new catalog starting May 22.
• From 9 p.m. on May 16 through 9 a.m. on May 22:
- My Account and our catalog will not be available on columbuslibrary.org or CML's mobile app.
- We will check out customers' items; self-checkout will be unavailable.
- Customers will be unable to place items on hold.
- We won't be able to accept fines; due dates will be extended.
• You will not receive emails from May 16-22.
• You will receive notifications again after May 22, but they now will come from notices@columbuslibrary.org.
• Vacation holds will change starting April 22.
• You can suspend reserves (like current postpone) again starting at 9 a.m. on May 22.
• You can postpone reserves until 9 p.m. on May 16. Already postponed reserves will transfer automatically.
• You can clear already set vacation holds until 9 p.m. on May 16.
• You will need to save your lists/information somewhere prior to May 16 in order to recreate them in the new catalog under "My Lists."
• Yes, you can place an Inter-Library Loan request, but you'll need to know your account information. We will not be able to look it up from 9 p.m. on May 16 - 9 a.m. on May 22.
• You can:
- Get library cards.
- Check out items – you will need your library card or number since we will be unable to look it up.
- Use your card for public computers.
- Use Hoopla, Zinio, online tools and eBooks.
