Through extensive research and a collection of newsclippings and historical photographs, the exhibit tells the stories of adaptation and endurance of nine Asian sub-groups, including: Cambodian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Lao, Thai, and Vietnamese. Their immigration stories and contributions are featured in the exhibits four sections: 1) The Unsung Heroes; 2) The Educated; 3) The Entrepreneurs; and 4) The Creative Class. As a whole, the exhibit will encourage a better understanding about the ways in which Columbus and the Asian community have shaped each other over the years.
