The library depends on our volunteers to work hand-in-hand with our staff to provide the best possible service to our customers. They check in with a wide variety of interests and passions and at the end of the day they check out knowing they made a difference in a reader's life.
What kind of person volunteers for Columbus Metropolitan Library? Someone who is passionate about books, about learning and about fostering these loves in others; a high school student, a successful business person or a senior citizen.
Caring adults, with all kinds of backgrounds, and with all kinds of interests volunteer for Columbus Metropolitan Library. During the summer months teens volunteer through the VolunTeen program. What about you?
Whether your passion is helping or creating order out of stacks of returned books and videos, we have a place for you.
