Late-night infomercials, reference guides and websites promote the availability of grant money to entrepreneurs for starting and expanding businesses. Sound too good to be true? It is. This site provides an explanation of federal and state loan, grant and venture capital financing programs available for your small business.

Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance
This document contains lists of grants offered by the federal government. Use the subject index to see if you or your business may be eligible for grant funding. The Catalog gives detailed descriptions that include eligibility, deadlines and the process of applying for the grant.
