About the Building
The branch was first opened in 1956 in the Northern Lights shopping center. The branch moved to its present location in 1993.

The branch hosts a number of storytimes each week, and has also offered a Spanish language storytime program called Cuentamé un Cuento. English as a second language classes meet at the branch weekly.
