About the Building
The Linden Branch first opened in 1928 on Aberdeen Avenue and was one of the first four original branches. It moved to two different locations on Cleveland Ave. in 1935 and 1952, and moved to its current location in 2004.

This branch houses one of the library’s popular Homework Help Centers. These Centers provide children with a quiet place to do homework, complete with supportive adults to assist them when they need help. Linden's HHC is open from 4-7 p.m. from Monday through Thursday. The Linden Branch also sponsors a weekly chess program for all ages.
