What else can I do besides read?
There are several ways to participate in the Teen Summer Reading Club.
You can move ahead a space on your Activity Record by:
- Reading for 30 minutes
- Attending a library program – any program counts! Check out our events page.
- Completing an online activity
Move ahead 2 bonus spaces just for having or getting a library card!
How do I track my progress?
Keep track of your progress on your Activity Record. When you visit the library, bring it with you in order to receive your prizes.
How can I help out at the library this summer?
Generally, Volunteens ages 12 or older are needed to help with many aspects of the Summer Reading Club. Last summer, over 1,000 Volunteens worked 23,000 hours at library locations! Download an application or ask your local library about their specific Volunteen opportunities. Slots are limited, so act fast!
I lost or forgot to download my Activity Record. How do I get a new one?
You can download it or you can get a new one at your local library.
