Biography: "I was born, raised and still live in southern Ohio. After working in the coal mines for 20 years, I retired and decided to take art classes at our local college. I have completed courses in painting, photography, ceramics and my favorite...stone carving. I graduated in June 2001 with an associates degree in visual art technology and moved into my art studio. I attended a stone carving symposium in 2000 in Indiana. I enjoy working with stone and creating things of beauty from a "stone". It takes me to another world and very project has a piece of my heart, soul and sweat in it."
