He lives in Evanston, IL where he works as a research biologist at Northwestern University. Bert has had several one person shows, his most current one at the Elmhurst Art Museum. He participated in numerous national and international exhibitions, and won a sponsor's prize at the 3rd International Print Biennale in Sapporo, Japan. Bert's work is included in "Art Scene, Chicago 2000, published by Wood Publications in Evanston."
