• The new branch as seen from Parsons Avenue.

  • The expansive floor plan will feature plenty of natural light and more than double the size of the current branch.

Check out the design concepts!

Parsons Branch architect Moody∙Nolan has shared some concepts of what the new branch will look like when completed. We plan to break ground in 2015 and open in 2016. Check back for updates.

We've purchased the land where your new branch will be built – along Parsons Avenue between Stewart and Deshler avenues. We expect to break ground on the project in summer 2015.

Built in 1956, the Parsons Branch is outdated and the community has outgrown it. It's part of our building program to renovate or rebuild 10 library locations.

The expanded Parsons Branch will have:

• More than 19,000 square feet of space
  (it currently has 7,599)
• More parking spaces
• A larger Homework Help Center
