We’re building a new
Parsons Branch

Exciting news! First, CML’s Board of Trustees approved the architect, Moody∙Nolan, to work on the design of the new Parsons Branch. And, we want to hear from you!

• Tell us three things you'd like to see in your new library here. The survey ends Wednesday, May 14.

• Join us on Wednesday, May 21 from 7:30-9 p.m. at the Parsons Branch, 845 Parsons Ave. and we'll share information about the new branch. You'll also hear from project architects Moody∙Nolan.

We've purchased the land where your new branch will be built – along Parsons Ave. between Stewart and Deshler avenues. We expect to break ground on the project in late 2014.

Built in 1956, the Parsons Branch is outdated and the community has outgrown it. It's part of our building program to renovate or rebuild 10 library locations.

The expanded Parsons Branch will have:

• 20,400 square feet of space
  (it currently has 7,599)
• More parking spaces
• A larger Homework Help Center
